Southwest airlines is now the only airlines in the USA that still does NOT charge bag fees. Unless I'm going for an extended stay I never check my bag just because it's a pain and my recent trip with Southwest proved to be the same. But if you're the type of person who NEEDS to check a back, this can save you some dough.
