October was a good month for the net worth. It increased by almost 1% from September, although September was down about 0.6%. The increase came almost exclusively from the market rebound and also from savings. The bad part is that I have to pay property taxes this month and I only have 2 months to meet my 10% net worth goal increase. I'm at around 7% so increasing it with 1.5% increases back to back probably ain't going to happen.
The market would have to increase by about 10% and then I'd have to find a renter who would be willing to pay me the deposit, first month's rent, and last month's rent. The odds of both of those things happening aren't real good.
The flip side is that if I can some how sell the condo for a profit, than that will immediately boost my net worth by whatever the profit was. Only time will tell!
