Well I don't know if you're tracking it or not, but my net worth decreased in the month of September by about $4k or 0.6%. This sucks, but it was from two main reasons. The first being hat I lost a month's worth of rent for my most expensive property. That was half. The other half was the the stock market fall.
As if this wasn't bad enough I've got property tax due next month. That's most likely going to drain around another $10k from me. Financially it's better, but man not putting your money into escrow throughout the year creates a serious hurting come November.
So far, I'm about 7.5% growth in net worth for the year. I've only got 3 months left to reach the goal of 10% and it's not looking real hot considering the drain that I'll have next month. If anything I'm probably too light on cash so I don't know where else I can invest my cash to make up for it. This is a 5 pay day month, which will help, but not by much.
