SECOND LANGUAGE: Here's a life hack for you. Yes you can also go to the library and get all the books and tapes that you want on a foreign language, but you're most likely to quit after one boring session. Instead try the Tim Ferriss method of memorizing the 300 most common words used in the language. This is the 80/20 rule at its finest. When you're done with that, move on to the most common phrases, which will get you through most street conversations. Check out his method below and become a polyglot!

EXERCISE: Push ups, crunches, wind sprints, riding your bike for errands, pull ups, walking, squats, etc. all all super FREE. Eating right makes up about 80% of a healthy body, so the rest of this will go a long long way to getting you in great shape for absolutely no money.
TOASTMASTERS: Most cities seem to have a small chapter in their area now. There has never been a greater organization for teaching people to get over their fear of public speaking. Not only will it help you get over your fear, but it will help point how to become a much better one. I started this right after college when I was unemployed and I thought I was a pretty good speaker. Boy was I wrong! It's amazing how they can pick apart the areas where you need improvement. They're also wonderful at helping you learn to be a better conversationalist and helping you think on the spot.
It's not completely free, but I can't think of anything that gets you a better bang for your buck.

FREE MBA: More and more universities are putting their courses online, especially Ivy League schools. Well now respected university is going to put their entire MBA curriculum online for anybody to take and they're not going to charge for it. The catch obviously is that you won't receive credit for the classes, but who cares you're there for the information, right? The school doing this is University of Illinois - Champagne, which is a great school and it's even better for the price.
As hopefully you know I'm not a big fan of MBA programs because I think they're basic, not worth the price, and from my experience the most important thing to learn in school is accounting and law. With that said, this is fucking FREE and a great starting point if you know nothing about business. Enjoy!
