Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This is my favorite holiday because it purely focuses on what is important in life. We celebrate what we are thankful for while making great memories with family and friends.
So far it is the only holiday that hasn't been desecrated by consumerism. However, there's a problem my friends. A dark cloud is looming just over the horizon. That dark cloud is BLACK FRIDAY!
Black Friday has now turned into black thanksgiving. American consumerism has crept into our most pure of holidays. While it's easy to blame Walmart and Target for taking people away from their families. The real cuprit is you!
Do you think Walmart and Target would do this if people weren't lined up outside their stores at midnight drooling for big screen TVs like a bunch of idiots? Of course not! That's like blaming Columbia for cocaine. They're just the supplier, not the addict. Markets don't exist when there's no demand.
Stay home with your families and give the finger to stores who open today. .
