Gabe Kennedy traveled around the world looking for ways to make cheap food tasty.  He's a famous chef at the age of 24 and doesn't think that just because people only have a few dollars to live off of, that they can't eat healthy and tasty food.  Read all about it at the link below and you can see an example of one of the recipes above.

Some of you probably heard that Gwyneth Paltorw tried the Food Bank Challenge of living off of basically $1.50 per meal, which is the equivalent of food stamps.  Well these recipes are for an entire day on that amount!  She failed, but you won't.  I've done this challenge and it isn't that bad.  I once heard a nutritionist say, "If you want to eat healthy, eat like poor people."  They were referring to the people in extreme poverty around the world, not in industrialized countries who actually become obese from eating cheap crappy processed foods.

Fruits, vegetables, beans, rice, eggs, oils, salt, seasoning, corn, potatoes, lentils, and whole milk.  Those are the staples around the world and they used to be here also before processed foods and giant portions took over.

In the article below, look at another person trying it and then read the comments at the bottom.  They have a great points about the choices she made.

This website was created due to the atrociously misguided financial advice that I've heard over the decades.  Financial freedom is not intellectually strenuous, but it takes discipline.
