March was not spectacular by any means. I only saved around 60% of my after tax income. The real budget buster was the minor surgery I had and this blew my budget. It's all part of the deal, but as a result you'll see that my medical expenses were by far my largest expense last month.

As you can see my medical expenses were huge. As I've said before a small increase in one of these can look huge because of the small amount of money that I spend. With that said this disproportion will only increase over the next 3 months as I institute another round of cost cuts.
Now that a roommate is gone I have cut the cable. I have also increased rent and I plan to cut my medical expenses (but not insurance) and also my phone bill again.
April will probably prove to be a little expensive. I've already bought some entertainment tickets and the dog is going to have to go the vet, not to mention I donated $100 to a charity unexpectedly.
